An exhibition showcasing the fabulous mouth paintings made by quadriplegic defense personnel of the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC) in Khadki was a truly remarkable event.
Organized by the Rotary Club at the Nehru Art Centre in Mumbai, the exhibition showcased these artists’ incredible talent and steely resolve, despite their physical limitations.
The jawans of the Indian Defence Services who suffered spinal injuries and are admirably rehabilitated at the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, Khadki, are epitomes of creativity.

A young male Hyena who was rescued from a deadly foot trap has recovered at Pune-based RESQ Charitable Trust’s Wildlife Unit and was released to its natural habitat. IAS Officer Visits Ocean-Bound Plastic Waste Collection Facility In Chennai
The additional chief secretary of the state’s environment, forest, and climate change department, Supriya Sahu, visited a global brand’s plastic waste collection facility in Manali.
She stated that the facility was collecting ocean-bound plastic waste from across the city.
“It is the first global facility for Garnier and recyclable PET bottles in partnership with the Plastics4change. More such facilities should be set up across the city to stop plastic from entering the waterbodies and oceans,” she said.

A 6-year-old boy in Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli district was seen pushing his sick father on a cart as he tried to take him to a nearby hospital. While he pushed it from one end, his mother helped by trying to pull it from the other side.
According to NDTV, the family had dialed the government hospital for an ambulance. Still, when it didn’t arrive despite waiting for 20 minutes, the family decided to take the man to the hospital in a pushcart.
