IIT Madras Startup’s E-Flying Taxi Model Grabs Netizens Attention

A startup incubated by the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-M) showcased its electric flying taxi prototype at Aero India in Bengaluru. It claims to transport up to 50kg payload per trip over a 200km travel range on a single charge. As the summer season approaches in the southern states of India, the government is putting in place measures to ensure that forest fires are minimised to the greatest degree possible.
Workshops and mock drills were conducted in Tamil Nadu to prepare the DFOs (Divisional Forest Officers) for situations where they will need to suppress forest fires promptly.
