Hyd Woman Cop Breastfeeds Abandoned Baby Found Outside A Hospital, Many Shower Appreciation & Love

Earlier this week a woman police constable from Hyderabad turned out to be a saviour for a two-month-old abandoned baby. The baby girl was found outside a hospital and was later taken to a police station. It is when, Priyanka, a woman constable who is currently on maternity leaves rushed to the police station to breastfeed the baby, and since then Priyanka’s act of kindness is winning the heart of many.
According to the Hyderabad police, on December 30, 2018, outside Osmania General Hospital, a woman in an intoxicated condition went to a man and handed him the baby. As per the man, the ‘drunk’ woman asked him to hold the baby for the time being. She told him that she is going to get the water, but she never returned. When the man realised that the woman would not come back, he then reached out of the Hyderabad police. At 11:30 pm, the man reached to Afzalgunj police station seeking for help, reported The Indian Express.

Separated from her mother for hours, the two-month-old was wailing out of hunger. The police constable Ravinder, who was at the hospital at that time realised the gravity of the situation, called his wife Priyanka, who is also a young mother.
Though it was late in the night, Priyanka without wasting any time rushed to the police station and fed the baby.
While talking to the ANI, she expressed her happiness after feeding the baby. She said, “My husband who is a constable told me about the baby & I immediately decided to see her. Upon seeing her, I realised she was hungry & breastfed her, felt happy.”

According to the police, after the baby was fed, she was moved to a Government Maternity Hospital in Petla Burz. The police also mentioned that a day after the incident on New year the baby was reunited with her family.
Earlier a similar incident happened in Bengaluru, where a Bengaluru city police constable, Archana was hailed by many for her act of kindness – she breastfed an abandoned boy who was found near a construction site in Bengaluru’s Electronic City, on Friday, June 1, 2018. The Karnataka CM had applauded the constable.
The couple’s small gesture has moved many. Many people from all around the world appreciated the act of kindness. The Logical Indian community also appreciates their efforts and would also encourage more people to help others.
