We have seen many instances of apathy of government workers especially in government hospitals, where many times attendants don’t attend to the patients in need and are busy in gossiping and doing frivolous things.
When Deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia did a surprise raid on a hospital, he caught a hospital worker watching movies while patients were waiting outside in long queues, while his in charge was away.
These kinds of steps and surprise raids / inspections create deterrent among workers and make them sincere. We hope that such people who shun their work while on duty are caught red-handed in future, too!
