While expressing hope that the ongoing dialogue with China will help resolve the lingering border row in eastern Ladakh, where the two armies have been locked in a standoff for more than 20 months, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said on 12th January that the Indian Army was at its highest level of operational preparedness in the sensitive sector, where the situation was under control.
