Karnataka Minister C N Ashwath Narayan and Congress’s MP D K Suresh almost came to blows at a public event organised by the government to unveil the statues of BR Ambedkar and Kempagowda in Ramanagara in the presence of CM Basavaraj Bommai. The incident occurred after Suresh objected to Narayan’s speech after which the Congress MP charged Narayan while security officials had to intervene. MLC S Ravi also joined Suresh and tried to throw the microphone to stop Narayan from his speaking. Later, the Congress MP sat down on the stage and protested.
