Hyderabad will become a candidate host city for the Formula E world championship. Earlier, only New York, London, Berlin, Rome, and Seoul hosted this electric car race. The Federation of Internationale de Automobile holds the annual racing event for the most environmental-friendly vehicles. A petition was signed by IT minister K. T. Rama Rao, Formula E Association and Greenko, a leading alternative energy provider, on 17th January.
