On 1st April, Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, said that the Narendra Modi administration demanded Rs 7.5 crore from Punjab to send soldiers during the 2016 Pathankot incident. Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister, stated, "Military forces arrived in Pathankot during the attack. Later, I received a letter stating that Punjab should pay Rs 7.5 crore because the military was dispatched. I went to Rajnath Singh with Sadhu Singh, and I told him to deduct from my MPLAD but to put it in writing that Punjab isn't part of the country and that We rented military from India."
