With ten more death in Assam, the total death toll touches 118, while the Silchar town remained submerged for the sixth consecutive day. The residents in Silchar city are facing problems as all the crematory and burial grounds are submerged in water due to floods. Packets of food, drinking water bottles and other essential items are being airdropped in the town by Indian Air Force helicopters.
