Assam Drug Bust: BSF Seizes Huge Consignment Of Yaba Tablets In Cachar Worth Rs 1.7 Cr

BSF personnel seized Yaba tablets worth Rs 1.70 crore from a car in the Hilara locality of Cachar district on December 27, 2022. Based on specific information, a BSF communique said the border guards laid a trap at the Hilara railway crossing on NH6, connecting Silchar with Shillong, on December 27. At 1.20 am, a car was stopped and searched when it reached the Hilara rail crossing point. Nearly 17,000 Yaba tablets packed in 89 packets were found inside the car, which was going towards Meghalaya.
