Women Arrested For Faking Rape, Molestation Charges In Two Separate Incidents

Two women were arrested in Ghaziabad’s Masuri village after they allegedly faked gang rape to acquire compensation amount from the government on Monday.

The women hatched the plan and called the police at 11:00 pm and said two people have raped them. When the police went to the spot, they found a woman lying on the roadside near the Dasna toll plaza. The police later took her to the hospital, where she told them that she was gang-raped.

“Police investigated the matter further, and it was revealed that the woman who was found lying near the toll and along with it, another woman had planned the in order to acquire the compensation from the government,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Ghaziabad, Anshu Jain, told ANI.

She also added that the rape claim was fake and was a part of a controversy hatched by the women. They are now under the custody of the police.

Kolkata Woman Strips, Blackmail Doctor

In another incident in Kolkata, four were arrested for trying to blackmail and extort money from a city doctor.

The Kashmiri doctor was framed by a woman who complained of chest pains and requested him to visit her at her residence.

On making bodily examinations, the doctor was forcefully embraced by the woman after which three people entered and stripped him off his clothes and took pictures. They then threatened the victim to pay ₹10 lakh or else his pictures will go viral on social media.

Times Now reported that the police had reached the spot and arrested the perpetrators. However, they have been granted bail, but the investigation is still on regarding the matter.
