While most sanitary napkin advertisement portray periods as some weird blue liquid flowing from women’s body, this Bodyform’s ad goes absolutely bold and unabashed hitting the right chord, successfully breaking the taboos surrounding periods.

Well, we have to accept that “blood”is for real.  This one-and-a-half minute video shows that women engaging in different sports, and they do bleed profusely.

A ballerina is seen with her bloody feet, boxers are seen fighting in a ring, a rugby player with bruises on her face.

The whole idea is that women bleed in sport all the time, but nothing… absolutely nothing hold them back. And periods is no different.
