“A tale of bravery, courage, and sacrifices. A tale that should never be forgotten:

Watch  the 1971 war heroes recalling the breath taking moments from their days on the INS Vikrant in this stirring video #SonsofVikrant. This is a very rare opportunity where we are getting to know the courageous stories of the war from none other than the war heroes themselves!

INS Vikrant, the country’s first aircraft carrier, holds an unparalleled place in the history of India. Vikrant played a pivotal role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war that led to the creation of Bangladesh. The aircraft carrier guarded our seas for 36 long years before it was decommissioned in 1997 and finally scrapped in 2014.

Fortunately, we have people who were determined to continue the legacy of the mighty warrior ship and preserve the honour and pride of the nation. The pride now runs on the roads in the form of the new #BajajV! Indeed, a proud moment for all Indians!”
