Did You Know That Every Time You Shop, You Stand A Chance To Change An Underprivileged Child’s Life?

We would like you to meet Appu, an innocent little boy, just like any other child of his age. Now, what do you think a day in the life of a boy his age would look like? You would say that it would consist majorly of making friends, playing and going to school. However, that is not the case with Appu.

The heart-warming video below shows Appu’s story and his desire to study, but he can’t because there is no school in his village. It is especially gut-wrenching to witness the dilemma of Appu’s father, who is unable to fulfil his son’s wish and is forced to make excuses every time his son asks about going to school. A few months later, Appu’s father gets to know that a new school is constructed in their village by P&G Shiksha. Watch what happens next!

This video has struck a chord with a lot of people including celebrities and many of them are sharing it on social media.

There are many kids like Appu, who are waiting for their life to be transformed. Which is now possible!

Every time a P&G product like Whisper, Ariel, Pantene, Head and Shoulders is purchased, a part of the money goes towards building and supporting schools for children through its flagship CSR program P&G Shiksha.

P&G Shiksha was launched in 2005 with an aim to provide children access to schools, irrespective of the background they come from.

The Logical Indian commends P&G Shiksha’s efforts towards providing an access to education for all which is every child’s right. It is also appreciable that this campaign encourages consumer participation towards the cause just by making simple brand choices. So, will you #ChooseForChange?
