"It's Not A Baby, It's My Heart" Working Mom's Facebook Post Raises Question On The Way Our Ministers Work

The mother-child relationship is probably the best kind of relationship existing. Number of sacrifices mothers have to go through for their kids is unfathomable. Besides, she has to take care of home and every other family members. All these makes her the best multitasker in the world.

Just imagine, when you used to get fever as a child, how your mother took utmost care of you. This is almost the same story for a Pune mom, Swati Chitalkar, whose child was having a high fever while she had an urgent deadline. Instead of staying her home and taking care of her son, she chose to bring her child to her office because she had some important matters to settle.

She shared a Facebook post, it showed herself working at her desk while her feverish child lying on the floor behind her.



Her post read, “It is not a baby on a floor ,it’s my heart on the floor. He was fully fevered not ready to stay with anybody. As half day is over I couldn’t take leave in between and an urgent release of the loan was there . but I could manage to mind my both the duties. Just want to convey the message to ministers who sleeps in assembly.”

Her post immediately caught the attention of thousands of netizens. Many applauded the mother for balancing her duties, while others took it as a message against politicians who aren’t taking care of their responsibilities.

However, she later clarified with a comment that her message was, it would be a better world if our politicians, like a normal person, can perform their duties with utmost sincerity.
