Ram Yadav, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Mohanlalganj police station in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has been suspended after a recent video surfaced in media that shows him getting a foot massage inside the police station.

A man who went to lodge an FIR at the police station was humiliated and asked to massage the feet of the SHO. The incident took place on Friday.

This is not something new in Uttar Pradesh, especially in rural areas. Following the video going viral, the SHO was suspended. Corrupt practices and cultures like these are seen frequently in many areas across the state.

The Logical Indian appreciates the action of suspending the SHO. Such misuses of authority should not be tolerated.
