Harmony amidst chaos
In between the tense situation that prevails in Kashmir, some positive stories of humanism is also emerging from Kashmir.  On Wednesday, a group of Muslims residents from south Kashmir rescued several Amarnath pilgrims, when a bus Amarnath pilgrims were travelling in collided with a vehicle on the Pahalgam-Jammu National Highway. 22 pilgrims were injured in the accident and two persons died. The Muslims from Bijbehara area rescued the pilgrims and rushed them to a hospital, amidst the curfew restrictions in the area resulting from the hostility over the death of the protesters a day before.
Over thousands of Amarnath pilgrims have been stranded in the valley owing to the belligerent situation following the death of Burhan Wani. So far, over 25,000 pilgrims have been shifted out of the Kashmir valley. The Chief Minister has conveyed her satisfaction over the camaraderie exhibited by the Kashmiris

The Logical Indian welcomes the news of harmony & humanism from the valley. We hope, more news such as these continues to emanate out of Kashmir and we wish, Kashmir soon returns to normalcy and transform itself into a valley of peace.
