GST Council To Levy 28% Taxation On Gaming

The Goods and Service Tax Council, on Tuesday, agreed to impose GST of 28 per cent on online gaming, horse racing and casinos. The tax levied on online gaming companies will be imposed without differentiation based on whether the games are based on skill or on chance.
