The first meeting of Agriculture Deputies under India's G20 presidency began at Madhya Pradesh's Indore today. It will be a three-day event ending February 15, where issues such as climate intelligent initiatives, adoption of innovative technology by small farmers as well as agriculture market information systems, wheat initiatives, agriculture risk management, and reduction of food loss will be discussed in detail.

In a video from Delhi’s Nagar, shared by @arbabali_jmi, several people can be seen sitting on the floor after the government demolished more than 50 houses yesterday. “The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) demolished close to 50 houses in Jamia Nagar. More than 300 people have been rendered homeless,” he captioned the video. Earlier, a notice was issued urging residents to vacate their jhuggis and even pucca houses built on government land, however, the residents alleged that they are not illegally occupying the area as they have been residing on the land for years.

The additional chief secretary of the state's environment, forest, and climate change department, Supriya Sahu, visited a global brand's plastic waste collection facility in Manali. She stated that the facility was collecting ocean-bound plastic waste from across the city. "It is the first global facility for Garnier and recyclable PET bottles in partnership with the Plastics4change. More such facilities should be set up across the city to stop plastic from entering the waterbodies and oceans," she said.
