In a recent heartwarming incident, Hetaram Satnami, a physically challenged man who lives in a remote village in Odisha’s Nuapada district, received his pension through a drone.
Earlier, he had to travel 2 km monthly through a dense forest to collect his government pension. According to the information, Sarpanch Saroj Agarwal said she bought a drone online after learning about Mr Satnami’s ordeal. This is such a kind initiative. To make sure that cloth bags are easily available to the masses, the Tamil Nadu government has developed a new initiative where people can purchase Manjapai cloth bags through UPI.
While sharing the video on Twitter, @supriyasahuias wrote, “The UPI revolution in India has transformed how we so easily transact business in India. The Manjapai vending machine, too, has got a UPI-enabled prototype version. Tamil Nadu: Vulture Rescued During Okchi Cyclone In 2017 Released After 5 Yrs Of Rehabilitation

A Cinereous vulture ( Aegypius monachus) was found stranded near Asaripallam in Nagercoil town of Kanniyakumari district during the Ockhi cyclone in December 2017, was released in Keru, Rajasthan, after nearly five years of rehabilitation and care. The vulture was translocated to Rajasthan & fitted with a GPS transmitter, yielding great results.
