Pawan Hans Launches Chopper Services On 6 Routes In Assam To Boost Trade & Tourism
Central PSU Pawan Hans Ltd on February 8 launched its helicopter services for several sectors connecting four major cities in Assam. The operationalization of these routes will create ease of travel for the residents of the region and give a boost to trade and tourism, the release said.
The service will be available on the Dibrugarh-Jorhat-Tezpur-Guwahati-Tezpur-Jorhat-Dibrugarh routes three days a week.
Tamil Nadu Sends Mahouts, Cavadis From Elephant Camps To Thailand For Training
Thirteen mahouts and their assistants (cavadis) from two elephant camps in Tamil Nadu reached Thailand on February 5 to attend a training program.
Sessions were held on techniques to examine camp elephants for ailments and skin issues, elephant bathing, taking care of baby elephants, and more.
They will attend the program at the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre (TECC) at Lampang till February 11.
