On 7th March, the eve of Women's Day in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked with the Nari Shakti Puraskar Awards winners. PM Modi thanked the recipients for their outstanding work, noting that they are positively contributing to society and the country. He claims that their work demonstrates innovation. "Whenever I go to other countries, people tell me that India has a strong leader. It makes me feel proud," said Captain Radhika Menon, the first woman captain in the Indian Merchant Navy.
