Today, surrogacy has become a very common option for giving birth to a baby for couples who are unable to have their own. But this heart-warming story is a first-of-its-kind, where a grandmother acts as a surrogate mother and gives birth to her own grandchild. 35-year-old Sara Connell, who had been trying to have a baby since 2004, ended up with a miscarriage. Sara and her husband wanted a biological child of their own, so Sara’s mother 61-year-old Kristine Casey volunteered herself as the surrogate mother and gave birth to her own grandchild.
