An Indian team picked from an Engineering college in India will participate and compete in an event at NASA. The event will have 40 teams from other countries like China and Japan. It is worthwhile noting that the team from India will have 4 girls in it.
What is the event all about?
The event is organised by MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) and the Indian team name is called Screwdrivers. The event is NASA’s 15th annual international Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) competition. As NASA intends to send a space mission to Jupiter’s moon that has water, which makes this competition unique i.e the vehicle should survive the long space journey and the water conditions of Jupiter’s moon.
