Electricity Department Employee Brutally Beaten By Police. Will The Same Police Do Policing On Police?

Station in-charge badly thrashed an Electricity Department Employee.

At Bageswar, Uttarakhand, on 12th, Tuesday night, a police officer allegedly took Anil Kumar Pant, an employee of Electricity Department and thrashed him badly. He is badly injured.

As per the reports, Anil had gone to fix some electricity issue in the trample of Dangoli in accordance with instructions from Engineer in-charge. While coming back from duty at around 9 PM, he was stopped at Baijanath by police station in-charge. The police officer forced him to sit in his vehicle and took him to the police station.

There, he was severely beaten. Worried family members rushed to the police station when they were told that he is injured. Due to the victim’s serious condition, he was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Political leaders and police officers went to the hospital to inquire about the issue and promised fair inquiry of the incident.

As per reports, at Baijanath cross, there was some chaos. On receiving the information, police rushed to the spot but by that time, hooligans had left the place. At that moment, Anil, after fixing the electric issue, was passing by and police caught him. He told the police repeatedly, that he has nothing to do with hooligans but police did not listen to him. CCTV footage also doesn’t show him on the camera when hooligans were present there.

Now, the big question is, who will do inquiry on the police in-charge? And where the family will report? Because here, the perpetrators are the protectors.
