Jaipur Tragedy: LPG and CNG Truck Collision Leaves 5 Dead, 24 Injured, and 40 Vehicles in Flames

The incident ignited a massive fire that engulfed approximately 40 vehicles, prompting extensive emergency response efforts. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited the injured at Sawai Man Singh Hospital and expressed his condolences, while local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

Tragic Incident Unfolds 

The horrific accident occurred early in the morning when an LPG truck collided with a CNG truck, leading to a series of explosions that set nearby vehicles ablaze. Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud blasts and witnessing flames engulfing the area. “It was terrifying; I saw people running for their lives,” recounted one bystander. Emergency services arrived swiftly, with over 20 fire engines deployed to control the blaze, which took several hours to extinguish. Jaipur District Magistrate Jitendra Soni confirmed that around 23 to 24 individuals suffered serious burn injuries and were transported to Sawai Man Singh Hospital for treatment.

Following the tragedy, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited the hospital to assess the situation of the injured.
