In the 2-minute video, PM Ardern narrated her government’s extensive work towards ensuring basic facilities to all in the past two years. The video went viral on all platforms in no time.

Ardern managed to point out that the government created 92000 jobs in the country along with 2200 state houses; installed modern radiation machines to treat cancer effectively; raised minimum wage to $17.7, brought down the unemployment rate – now lowest since past 11 years; 384000 families got a boost in the income under family package scheme; banned single-use plastic; planted more than 140 million trees; banned military-style semi-automatic assault rifles; provided $3000 a year for the first year of a child’s life.

Apart from this, Ardern also mentioned how her government reduced carbon footprint in the country. Ardern garnered appreciation from left, right, and centre for her video. Some journalists of New Zealand also commended the video, describing it as “incredible”.
