45Kg Of Plastic Retrieved From A Cow’s Stomach As A Result Of Our Ignorance

A little bit of care and concern in the disposal of waste can go a long way in saving the cows from the menace of plastics. The above photo is about Blue Cross Of India retrieving 45 KG of plastic from a cow’s stomach. Plastics and the way we dispose of them affect many animals, more importantly, the cow who graze on the streets. Let us do our bit while disposing of the waste, we have to own up to the mistakes we do, we have a responsibility towards animals, taking good care of the cows is alone to taking care of ourselves. Let’s dispose of our garbage responsibly and shun littering of plastics or any waste for that matter.

The Logical Indian urges every citizen to wake up and stop using plastics as much as possible, and in case avoiding plastics is not possible, at least we must ensure proper recycling and disposal or plastics to ensure innocent animals do not have to suffer.

Consumption without a conscious? I am a modern day economy consumer. I love plastic bags, plastic bottles, plastic wrapped supermarket food, plastic cups, etc. The non-stop garbage trail I leave behind is not my problem. I mix it all – food waste and plastics into a mixed toxic dump. I can’t be bothered to segregate my garbage at home. Cattle grazing on toxic dumps on every street corner in my city. It’s not my problem. Below a photo from Blue Cross of India showing 45kg of plastic retrieved from a cow’s stomach in the city. A frequent occurrence. Just image its horrible suffering. My garbage is really not my problem is it?
