“I really want to share this story with everyone as last night my faith in humanity was restored. I am a 25 yr old girl working for an advertising agency, usually working till late and I travel by scooty as it’s convenient for me.
Last night after my office I was on my way home and it was around 12:10 am, my bike stopped working so I went to a nearby puncture guy who was around 18 yr old (forgot to ask his name) I told him maybe my petrol was over and asked him if he can help me?. A guy who came to fill up air in his bike overheard our conversation said he would lend me some petrol so that I can atleast reach the petrol pump hence both the guys got some petrol in my bike tank after many attempts.
But still my bike didn’t show any progress and didn’t start. It got me worried as it was 12:30 in the night. Then a rickshaw wala guy approached me and asked If he can help me. I was hesitant at first but later I decided to let him help me to get my bike started. He tried to start my bike but all in vain then he asked me where do I stay? I stay in bhandup so I told him and he said he can tow me till bhandup.
I asked him if he was sure because it was long way from jvlr to bhandup maybe 15 kms. And this guy towed me till my home and on reaching when I started looking for money in my purse, he said it is ok if you don’t have money as I am glad that you reached safely. I really didn’t know what to say. I asked his name to which he replied Santosh Sharma.
We need more people like Santosh bhai, the punture guy and the guy who lend me petrol. I would like to thank them all and all such men who stand out to help not only females but everyone. Not all men look for opportunity there are many who are real men.”
