India Ends World Archery Para Series With 13 Medals: 4 Gold, 2 Silver, 7 Bronze

India secured four gold, two silver and seven bronze medals across individual, team and mixed-team events on home soil.

India concluded the World Archery Para Series Amdavad 2026 with a 13-medal haul, comprising 4 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze. On the final day, Indian para-archers secured 2 gold and 5 bronze medals across individual and mixed-team events.

Sheetal Devi won Para Compound Women’s Individual gold after beating Aizada Seidan in a shoot-off following a 144-144 tie, while Harvinder Singh and Bhawna won Para Recurve Mixed Team gold with a 6-0 victory over China. Sarita, Sheetal Devi and Toman Kumar, Bhawna, and Toman also added bronze medals.

Final Day

Sheetal Devi clinched the Para Compound Women’s Individual gold, edging Aizada Seidan in a shoot-off after both archers scored 144. Sheetal struck an X to seal the title. Sarita won bronze in the same event after defeating China’s Wang Huiting 141-140.

In the Para Compound Mixed Team event, Sheetal Devi and Toman Kumar defeated Iraq 157-145 for bronze. Bhawna also claimed bronze in the Para Recurve Women’s Individual event after an all-Indian bronze medal match against Rajshri Dhanraj Rathod.

Mixed Team

Harvinder Singh and Bhawna delivered India’s second gold of the final day in the Para Recurve Mixed Team event. The Indian pair defeated PR China 6-0 in the final, taking control from the opening set.

Toman Kumar added another bronze for India in the Para Compound Men’s Individual event, defeating Iraq’s Abbas Kadhim 143-138. These results took India’s final-day medal count to seven medals: two gold and five bronze.
