Watch: Unique Bond Between Street Beggars & School Students

“Whenever we come across a beggar, what are the thoughts that come to our mind or what kind of emotions do we experience? Either we look at them with disgust, feel pathetic about them, despise their situation, ignore them, or in sympathy, donate few bucks and think we are done with our responsibility. But here is a heartwarming lesson to be learnt. These class XII students are not just providing help and a choice to live a life with dignity to beggars, they are also giving them hope which they need mostly. There are 4,16,670 beggars in India. If everyone of us try to do what these small pearls are doing, we can make India a beggar-less society

“Pearls of India” is an initiative to uncover these precious and hidden pearls from across the nation – who serve as an inspiration to one and all. “Pearls of India” will be presented in a series of videos wherein we introduce such “Pearls” across India over the course of time.”
