[Watch] SettingItRight Through Sustainable Living

Supported by

#SettingItRight is story of a community that is restoring the environment and consuming natural resources with care. It’s a story of a village that is powered by natural resources.  This is a story of sustainable living. Sustainable living ensures minimum usage of natural resources for maximum benefit of society. And the need for sustainable living in today’s world is more when cities are growing and resources are diminishing day by day.

The small village of Amle, a few hours away from Mumbai, is #SettingItRight and setting an example to the whole world. Amle does not boast of engineers, doctors, luxurious cars or of a world class infrastructure, but it certainly has residents who care enough to conserve mother nature and they are #SettingItRight by consuming natural resources with care, by using solar energy for electrification, by using water judiciously, and most importantly by replenishing the forest cover. For the first time they have clean water and water for irrigation throughout the year. In fact, for every tree that an individual cuts down for his/her use, they plant 3 more! They are not only #SettingItRight for themselves but also for their future generation.

Amle has shown the way and it is just a start. You could also be doing your bit and #SettingItRight by giving a missed call on 07053111897 and a tree will be planted on your behalf, pictures of which will be shared with you via Whatsapp.

Let’s not wait anymore and start #SettingItRight. At least we can do this much to save the environment, so our future generation may have what we have.
