Komal is like any other bright, sensitive and happy 9-year old. Her new neighbor- Mr. Bakshi, who moved in with his wife, is her father’s old friend. Komal bonds with the affable Mr.Bakshi with whom she has a whale of a time. Until, Komal discovers Mr.Bakshi’s bitter reality.
CHILDLINE Didi explains to children the concept of safe and unsafe touch, so that they can be better equipped to protect themselves and take help from trusted adults if ever caught in a similar situation.
Child sexual abuse is a real thing in our society. In a shocking revelation, a government-commissioned survey has found that more than 53% of children in India are subjected to sexual abuse, but most don’t report the assaults to anyone.
>Can we do something about it?
>How can I protect my child?
>What are the aftermaths of child abuse?
>Is there anyone I can talk to or get help from?
And many more such questions come to our mind. To help you understand it and protect our children from it we ‘The logical Indian’ in association with ‘Doctors’ Circle’ and ‘EvolvED’ are conducting a hangout on Sep 22nd, 1 pm onward.
Save the date, mark your calendar and join in to ask questions to the expert on the subject.
