Education is one major yardstick of development in a country. In India, the percentage of high school dropout rates reflects the state of politicians. We often complain that our politicians are not academically qualified to govern us. While this is a fact, on the flip side, India also has a number of highly educated politicians. From IITs, to California University, Tufts University — some of our politicians are also great academicians. But good education does not guarantees a good governance.
