The Chamoli district administration reported a cloudburst near Pangti Village, in the early hours of September 20. The temporary shelters of Border Road Organisation (BRO) workers have been damaged and several vehicles are stuck in the debris brought down by rainwater. Relief and rescue operations are underway.
