The Himveers of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) took part in a Yoga session on Wednesday at an altitude of 17,000 feet in the Sikkim Himalayas to prepare for the upcoming International Day of Yoga in 2022. Around 20 Indo-Tibetan Border Police officers can be seen stretching their feet and executing at least three distinct yoga asanas (postures) on their carefully set yoga mats across a uniform sheet of snow barely bigger than a white blanket. The International Day of Yoga, being a global event of this scale, sees participation worldwide.
