The monsoon rains have hit Mumbai hard. Incidents of waterlogging were reported from multiple areas bringing the city to a standstill. Local trains, subways were bought to a halt. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the western suburb of Santacruz recorded 164.8 mm of rain in just six hours.
