Bengaluru Traffic Police has taken initiatives to conduct awareness drives in various city junctions. For example, to regulate traffic near the busy MC Circle, traffic cops in City Market have swapped their whistles for microphones and loudspeakers. The drivers were warned to stop before the stop line to make way for the pedestrians. Ever since this system has been adapted, there have been fewer traffic jams and is a better way to guide people to drive better and explain them about the rules and regulations.
