Indian Army Reconstructs Bridges Damaged By Landslides On Baltal Route In 24 Hours

On the intervening night of June 30 and July 1, the Nalas on the Baltal route swelled as a result of bridges at the Kalimata being washed away due to a rapid rise in temperature on the Baltal route. Chinar Corps was commissioned by the civil administration to rebuild the collapsed bridges. Chinar Corps' Kilo Force quickly organized resources in response to the demand. The 13 engineer regiment of the Chinar Corps successfully revamped a brand-new bridge in night despite overwhelming odds of weather and darkness in a record time of 24 hours.
