Considering the fear among people, the US Federal agency might ban gas stoves. A report published in Harvard Health Publishing states that cooking with gas stoves creates nitrogen dioxide and releases additional tiny airborne particles known as PM2.5, both of which are lung irritants, becoming the cause of childhood asthma.
