Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on December 28 declared a yellow alert due to the spike of Covid cases and the new Omicron variant which entails public transportation to imply 50% occupancy. As an impact, long queues were witnessed in various metro stations and bus stops as passengers face difficulty due to the waiting time as a result of the 50% seat occupancy.
