Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in Bengaluru's Jakkur gets waterlogged following heavy rains on November 21. This destroyed genetic samples for research collected for over 25 years and equipment worth lakhs of rupees, as the water rose over one metre within the campus.
