Bangladesh: The Fire In Rohingya Camps Engulfs The Dreams Of Many, Leaving Them Homeless

Thousands of Rohingya have been left homeless after a fire gutted parts of their refugee camp in southeastern Bangladesh. According to a report by Aljazeera, 22-year-old Abdur Rashid lost all the savings he saved working as a day labourer. He lost all his dreams, as he now standing below the open sky with his months old baby and wife with no home. In an Aljazeera report, about 1,200 houses were burnt in the fire, said the spokesperson, Kamran Hossain. Bangladesh has been praised for taking in refugees who fled across the border from Myanmar but has had little success finding them permanent homes.
