Nagaland's Mon district witnesses unrest amongst protesters after 6 mineworkers were shot dead by the armed forces of Assam Rifles. Later, the civilian death toll rose to 15 as ambush between forces and protesters followed. The protestors on December 5 attacked the Konyak Union Office as funerals of the deceased in the ambush got delayed.
