ITBP Personnel Carry Pregnant Woman For 5 KM To Reach Nearest Health Centre On A Stretcher

The video below shows personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) carrying a pregnant woman on a makeshift stretcher. The woman hails from Hadeli village in Chattisgarh. The 30-year-old woman with excruciating labour pain reached out to ITBP Hadeli Coy Operating Base (COB) as an ambulance was not available due to heavy rain in the region. She was then carried by Hadeli and Ranapal COBs jointly for 5 km to reach the nearest Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Mardapal commends the ITBP personnel on acting swiftly and helping the woman in need.
