An ongoing protests against the Pema Khandu-led Arunachal Pradesh government turned violent on February 25, after the protesters set ablaze the resident of Deputy CM of Arunachal Pradesh.

The protest was to express resentment against state government’s decision to grant permanent resident certificates (PRCs) to six tribal communities.
