The Uttarakhand government, led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, is set to launch the ‘Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026’.
This initiative will provide free online coaching for competitive exams—including UPSC, SSC, banking, and entrance tests like CAT and GATE—to higher education students in universities and government-aided colleges across the state. Designed to bridge the educational divide for students in remote, hilly, and financially disadvantaged areas, the scheme is expected to be formally rolled out soon, offering a much-needed lifeline to aspirants unable to afford private coaching.
Bridging the Accessibility Gap
Under this comprehensive programme, eligible youth will receive high-quality study materials and dedicated online guidance for an extensive array of exams, covering civil services, defence (CDS), railways, and national eligibility tests such as NET and CSIR-NET.
By shifting to an online model, the government aims to eliminate geographical and financial barriers, allowing students to study from the comfort of their homes. Officials have positioned the initiative as a crucial step to expand access to quality preparation support without requiring students to pay exorbitant fees for private coaching.
