The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced recruitment for 1,471 lecturer posts across government inter colleges, inviting applications online at uppsc.up.nic.in until September 12, 2025. The process aims to fill 777 vacancies for male lecturers and 694 for female lecturers across various subjects.

The selection involves a preliminary examination followed by a main written test, with the final merit based on combined scores. Candidates can correct their applications until September 19, 2025. Officials emphasise transparency and merit in the recruitment to enhance education quality in Uttar Pradesh.

UPPSC Lecturer Recruitment: Key Details and Eligibility

UPPSC’s recruitment drive covers posts across disciplines such as Hindi, English, Science, Maths, and others. Eligible candidates must hold postgraduate qualifications in respective subjects along with a B.Ed recognised by NCTE. Application fees vary by category: ₹125 for UR/EWS/OBC, ₹65 for SC/ST, and ₹25 for PwD candidates, payable online.

The registration window is open, encouraging thousands of aspirants statewide to apply and vie for stable government teaching jobs. “We are committed to conducting a fair and competitive recruitment process to attract talented educators,” said a senior UPPSC official.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to register for the UPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2025:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s official website: uppsc.up.nic.in.

2. Access the Notification: Find and click on the link titled ‘Lecturer Government Inter College Examination 2025’. Carefully read the detailed notification for eligibility criteria, vacancy details, important dates, and instructions.

3. Complete the Registration: Select the ‘Apply Online’ option to begin the registration process. Fill in your basic personal details such as name, contact number, and email ID. After this, generate your registration number and password for future logins.

4. Fill the Application Form: Log in using your credentials and complete the application form by entering detailed personal, academic, and other required information. Make sure all entered information matches your official documents.

5. Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed formats and sizes as mentioned in the notification.

6. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the application fee online via net banking, debit/credit card, UPI, or other approved digital payment methods. The fee is ₹125 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates, ₹65 for SC/ST candidates, and ₹25 for PwD candidates. After payment, download and print the Payment Transaction Slip for your records.

7. Submit the Application: After verifying all details, submit the application form successfully.

8. Print Confirmation Page: Finally, take a printout of the completed application form and confirmation page for future reference, especially for examination and counselling purposes.

Candidates can correct or modify their application forms and fees until September 19, 2025. The last date to submit the initial application form is September 12, 2025.
