‘Tumhaari Amma’ – An Unusual Story

They taught us to eat. They changed our clothes. They even washed our poo. But when they reach a stage in life where they can’t look after themselves well, we get caught up with our careers, our friends and our relationships. We tend to neglect them and ignore them.

The new Omron film shows us that even parents need parenting. And how children can be parents to their own parents.

The touching story is set in a small town such as Lucknow where an old mother lives alone, and in a big city where the daughter lives and works.

In the film, the daughter sends a parcel and a note with the message that ‘some things are good to know’. What the mother does not know brings a fantastic twist. Times have changed and hope this film inspires us all to take the bold step the daughter has taken in the film.
