This commitment aligns with the G20 Leaders' pledge at the New Delhi Summit in September to enhance access to digital services and infrastructure, leveraging digital transformation for sustainable and inclusive growth.*

Addressing the second Voice of Global South Summit, Seth highlighted the Indian presidency's focus on the role of technology in social transformation and economic empowerment, especially in the realm of financial inclusion. He emphasized that India's success story serves as a guide for G20 policy recommendations, endorsed by leaders, aimed at advancing financial inclusion and productivity gains through digital public infrastructure.

"The G20 financial inclusion action plan for 2024 to 2026 also prioritizes the deepening of engagement with the Global South.India stands ready to share its technical capabilities and knowledge resources for empowering the people of the Global South," he stated.

G20's Contribution to Crypto Assets Regulation

Seth also acknowledged a notable achievement of the G20 in laying the groundwork for a globally coordinated policy and regulatory framework for crypto assets. While recognizing the significant strides made, he emphasized that challenges persist and require stronger collaboration.

Highlighting India's approach to development partnerships, Seth emphasized that it will continue to be consultative, outcome-oriented, demand-driven, and respectful of the sovereignty of partner countries. He reiterated India's commitment to addressing challenges collaboratively while maintaining a focus on achieving tangible and impactful outcomes.

The announcement comes as a significant step in India's efforts to foster international collaboration in the digital domain and promote inclusive growth through shared technological expertise.
